That 15-minute tuna tartare recipe
INGREDIENTS
Cake
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon unseasoned rice vinegar
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon wasabi paste
3/4 teaspoon Asian sesame oil
8 ounces sushi-quality ahi tuna steak
1 medium-sized avocado
1 cup cubbed Persian cucumber
1 green onion
Toasted sesame seeds
RECIPE
Cut tuna & avocado into 1/3-inch cubes. Cut cucumber into 1/4-inch cubes.
Whisk soy sauce, unseasoned rice vinegar, lemon juice, wasabi paste & Asian sesame oil in a medium bowl until blended.
Mix together tuna, avocado & cucumbers.
Slowly stir in soy sauce mixture until gently coated.
Spoon the tartare into a bowl & sprinkle with sesame seeds to finish.
